Marriage of Jennifer Lopez on hold: “My heart is broken”
World stars must also conform to the corona measures. Jennifer Lopez, 50, for example, who saw her planned wedding to Alex Rodriguez, 44, fall into the water.
“My heart is a little broken because we had great plans,” admits the superstar on the “Today Show.” “But on the other hand, I think: You know what? God has a bigger plan for us. We just have to wait. Maybe it will get even better. I just have to believe that.”
So the marriage has been postponed, but the planning has also come to a complete standstill. “We are not currently planning,” said Jennifer.
“We just have to wait and see how this will evolve. It is disappointing after the year I had, with the Super Bowl and the recording of ‘World of Dance’”, it sounds.
“I planned to take time off – which is what I actually do – but we had so many plans for the summer and the coming year, but everything is now on hold.”
It’s a feeling her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, shares. “Everything is on pause now; we’ll see where the world takes us,” he says.
“These are, of course, unprecedented times. So we want to put safety first and ensure that our children are well cared for.”
Alex and Jennifer got engaged in March 2019. Typically, they would tie the knot this summer.
