Migrants come to Europe in containers with glass and toxic waste

The Spanish Civil Guard has found 41 migrants in the Spanish enclave of Melilla. The migrants had hidden in a plastic bag with toxic waste and in containers with broken glass to reach the port at the tip of Morocco.

According to the Spanish police, someone was found in an airtight bag with ashes from an incinerator, the communiqué says. The officer who discovered the migrant initially saw “a lifeless leg”. However, the apparently unconscious man regained his senses a little later.
