Road collapsed after a powerful earthquake in Alaska [Video]
The south of Alaska is startled by a powerful earthquake with a magnitude between 6.7 and 7. The authorities announced a tsunami alarm.
The epicentre of the quake was about 12 kilometres north of the city of Anchorage, at a depth of 43 kilometres. This is reported by the US geological institute USGS. For the time being nothing is known about damage or victims.
The heavy quake got the news channel from CNN partner KTUU out of the blue. At the airport of Anchorage, no aircraft are currently landing because the control tower has been evacuated. This is what the American aviation authority FAA reports.
