The importance of praying every morning in 5 Bible verses!

The Bible does not give any indication of a prayer schedule. We are invited to pray without ceasing as soon as we feel moved by the Spirit and desire to commune with God. However, every Christian should devote to prayer a part of the day. This part of the day is the morning, and the Bible confirms this!

Mark 1:35

And it came to pass in the morning, while it was yet very dark, that he arose and went out into a desert place and prayed.

Psalms 143:8

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust cause me to know the way where in I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Psalms 5:3

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD, in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will lookup.

Psalms 88:13

But unto thee have, I cried, O, LORD! and in the morning, shall my prayer prevent thee.

Psalms 119:147

I prevented the dawning of the morning and cried: I hoped in thy word

Praying in the morning often allows us to enjoy a moment of quiet, to see the day dawn, and to put the day in God’s hands. Praying in the morning also allows us to start our day in God’s presence and to give him priority over our tasks! In short, praying at the beginning of the day has many benefits, and we hope that it will become a habit for you if you are not already doing it!
