UN withdraws part of its personnel from Sudan

The United Nations is going to withdraw its non-essential personnel from Sudan. This was announced by a spokeswoman for the international organization. The UN will remain active in the African country for the time being.

London has also started the withdrawal of part of its embassy staff in Sudan. The British are advised not to visit the country due to increasing insecurity.

Today it became known that more than a hundred people died in violence against demonstrators. There are also 300 injured. The military administration in Sudan is willing to negotiate with the opposition, but it still refuses to enter into talks.

People fear even more chaos and violence.
