Wedding at the time of Corona: US couple use cardboard silhouettes as guests

Dan Stuglik and Amy Simonson from Michigan, US, planned their wedding with over 150 guests. Unfortunately, due to the corona crisis, that party will not be able to continue that way tomorrow. To feel a little socially surrounded on their big day, more than a hundred silhouettes cut from cardboard take place in the church.

In Michigan, too, everyone has to stay “in his dorm”. The marriage of Dan Stuglik and Amy Simonson will have to take place without an audience tomorrow.

At the request of the groom, a packaging company donated more than a hundred cardboard stand-ins, which the couple’s family and friends must present. Young, old, small, large, long hair, short hair: all human manifestations have been thought of.

Professional agent Dan Stuglik is eternally grateful for this comforting surprise to his bride-to-be. “That her marriage fell into the water was painful for her, but this brings a little relief,” said Stuglik.
