WhatsApp finally improves recording and playback of audio messages

Every day, all WhatsApp users together send an average of seven billion audio messages. So it was high time to improve its playback and recording. You can expect the new functions in the chat app in the coming weeks, WhatsApp, and parent company Meta report.

Those who regularly send audio messages will be happy to read that WhatsApp is making the feature more user-friendly. This way, you will be able to play a voice message without having to keep WhatsApp open.

The app will also remember at which point you paused an audio message. You will also speed up playback 1.5 or 2 times: ideal for those voice messages that are just a bit too long.

Recording sound will also become easier. This way, you can pause and resume a recording whenever you want. In addition, you will be able to listen to the message before sending it.

According to WhatsApp and parent company Meta, the features will be available to everyone in the coming weeks. However, some people can already take advantage of the novelties at the time of writing.
