Many brutal tyrants throughout history have left a path of blood and sad memories of their leadership. These government officials had families and children, each of whom had a distinct destiny.
Stalin did not lavish love and care on his children. Hussein’s sons were harsh, perhaps more so than their father. Kim Jong Il’s children enjoyed a good education in the United States. Many of them went on to become politicians after assisting their fathers. Muammar Gaddafi also has 11 children, each with their own fate. Despite this, all of the children were terrified of their dads while yet respecting them.
Saddam Hussein
He was the ruler-dictator of Iraq from 1979 to 2003, and he is well-known across the globe. Hussein utilized the carrot-and-stick approach throughout his tenure. On the one hand, the quality of life for average Iraqis has significantly improved. Those who were displeased with his reign, on the other hand, were punished. He violently persecuted political opponents and sanctioned horrific repressions and population killings. He was imprisoned when he was ousted. Saddam Hussein was killed on the first day of Eid al-Adha in 2006.
His children’s fates were different. According to government records, Saddam Hussein has five children: Udey and Qusey are two boys, while Rana, Raghad, and Hala are three females. Uday inherited his father’s bloodlust, love of violence, and indifference to other people’s suffering. He was accused of brutality and beatings, rape, and murder on several occasions. For punishment, he preferred to utilize torture devices.
Uday was able to outperform even Saddam Hussein. Hussein deprives his son of the right to inherit after killing his personal bodyguard, severely beating his own wife on a daily basis, and shooting his uncle in the leg. Qusey was gentler and more controlled. The US forces killed Hussein’s two sons in 2003 after refusing to surrender peacefully.
After Iran’s monarch was deposed, his daughters fled to Jordan. The majority of them go by other names. Raghad Kamal, his oldest daughter, is a hothead like her father. She and her children reside in a wealthy neighborhood in Amman, Jordan’s capital. She is well-off and can buy everything she wants. Rana is also a Jordanian, however, she does not reside with Raghad. Hala is said to reside in one of the Arab nations. Saddam Hussein’s young bride Samir and their common kid Ali have been identified. They currently reside in Lebanon under various aliases.
Joseph Stalin
This monarch has made an indelible influence on human history. We’re talking about Joseph Stalin, the Soviet Union’s leader. Historians believe him to be one of the cruelest and most ruthless kings in history. A tyrant like this has a family and children. Yakov Dzhugashvili, Vasily Stalin, and Svetlana Alliluyeva were the three official children. Certain historians also mention illegitimate offspring who arose during Stalin’s exile. Konstantin Kuzakov and Alexander Davydov are their names.
Yakov Dzhugashvili was Stalin’s eldest son by Ekaterina Svanidze’s first wife. Yakov saw his father for the first time only at the age of 14, when he arrived in Moscow. The relationship between them was tense all their lives. And secret love and marriage with a Jewish girl Zoya Gunina drove Stalin to fury. For Yakov himself, this ended in a suicide attempt. His second marriage was to the Jewish ballerina Judith Melzer.
Yakov went to fight but was captured by the Nazis. When they wanted to give him up in exchange for concessions from Stalin, he refused, saying that he would not help the traitors to the Motherland. Yakov was sent to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, where after a while, he died tragically.
Son Vasily Stalin and Svetlana Alliluyeva were deprived of their father’s attention from childhood. Their mother was involved in their upbringing, and when she died, they were looked after by guards with a nanny. This affected the boy’s psyche. Therefore, among his addictions for life remained an addiction to alcohol and an understanding of permissiveness.
Having become a first-class pilot, Vasily was quickly able to build a military career. Stalin did everything so that no one would give concessions to his son. And in 1952, by order of Stalin, his son was removed from office for drunkenness and negligence. After his father’s death, Vasily ended up in a camp for 8 years for anti-Soviet propaganda. After leaving, he lived in Kazan and drank a lot. He died there in 1962.
Svetlana was more fortunate – she was her father’s favorite. She became an English translator. She had 3 marriages, all of which were short and unsuccessful. And after the second, Svetlana ended up in a psychiatric hospital.
In 1966, she applied for asylum in the United States while in India. At 45, she married a wealthy American and gave birth to a daughter. Svetlana wrote several books of memoirs about Stalin, which were popular for some time. She spent her last years in a nursing home in the United States, where she died in 2011.
Kim Jong Il
This man is also considered a cruel tyrant who ruled in power in the DPRK from 1994 to 2011. Some historians have called him “Korean Stalin.” While he drank brandy and feasted, his people were starving. Kim Jong Il has been accused of demonstrating public executions, kidnapping, tight control of the media, and more.
Kim Jong Nam, the eldest son of the DPRK ruler, was the main contender for power in the country. However, everything changed for him in 2001. He was detained by the Japanese authorities and accused of illegally staying in the country. In addition, he was very fond of drinking and abused it. At the airport in Malaysia, Kim Jong Nam was killed in 2017.
Kim Seol Sun’s daughter was his personal secretary and was responsible for her father’s safety. It is known that she came to Paris in 2005 to study.
Kim Jong-un was educated in Switzerland and succeeded his father. He took over the government in 2011 with little or no experience. Little is known about him, but Kim Jong-un adheres to the same totalitarian regime as his father. Kim Jong Chol was also educated in Switzerland but became a guitarist. For a long time, nothing was known about Kim Yeo Jung. However, Kim Jong-un considers her to be her beloved sister, for whom she does everything. And she is a successful politician, although she looks about 30 years old.
Muammar Gaddafi
He ruled Libya for 40 long years. Gaddafi came to power as a result of a coup in 1969. He was considered a cruel dictator. He managed to carry out many reforms, as a result of which many benefits were created for the population. America and Europe accused Gaddafi of terrorism. He was overthrown by the rebels and executed without waiting for trial. Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi had many children, 9 of which were his own, and 2 were adopted.
Saif al-Islam Gaddafi is his eldest son. In 2015, he was sentenced to death by the rebels, which was never carried out. He was released, but by a court decision in The Hague, he is wanted. Saadi Gaddafi is a professional footballer. He fought in the government forces during the reign of his father. But after the defeat, he fled to Niger. The last time he was known was in 2018, when Saadi was given a term for possession and consumption of alcohol. Mutassim loved to live luxuriously and have affairs with supermodels. He was executed with his father in 2011. Saif al-Arab Gaddafi studied and lived in Munich for a long time. He led a bohemian life and was accused of arms smuggling, and was killed after a NATO airstrike.
