Wooden pen!s in larger version back on the German mountain

The wooden pen!s about two meters high that disappeared from a mountain top in southern Germany last week is back. But it is not the same. The new phallus is bigger. It is a mystery who erected the new pole near the border with Austria.

The art object that disappeared last week, stood for years on the mountain top near Rettenberg and was recommended as a cultural monument with five stars on Google maps. How and why it disappeared is a mystery to the authorities, and the police write Bild. They are also in the dark about the replacement.

Images from a webcam at a ski lift in the area did not reveal much. It only showed some vague images of the creation of a possible new pile structure.

The new version that now adorns the mountain Grünten near the Austrian border is also made of wood and supported by beams.

The statue that went up in smoke last week – and whose creator is unknown – had fallen over several weeks ago and was only upright a few days before it went missing. “It remains unclear whether we are dealing with a crime here,” said a police spokesperson of the investigation into the missing pole.

This wooden clapper disappeared last week from the 1,738-meter high Grünten near Rettenberg in Allgäu.
