Dean Schneider drops his prestigious job for animals in Africa
Dean Schneider 26-year-old man has expressed his love for animals, the thou abandons his prestigious job and traveled down to South Africa to actualize his mission. Dean surrendered himself with most endangered species.
The European is renowned in the art of giving up everything in order to live his passion to the fullest. He left everything behind to launch the rescue of endangered animals in Africa.
Schneider who lived in Switzerland left a prestigious job, sold all his belongings and moved to South Africa to save mutilated animals. For the 26-year-old to realize his childhood dream was priceless, he just needed enough courage to give up everything and be among the animals.
More than a year ago, he had the courage to leave his position as a financial planner in Switzerland, to sell everything he owned at that time, to travel to South Africa and to create the Hakuna club.
“Like many children, I was fascinated by the animal world, but quickly became very aware of the circle of life and its relative cruelty. My idol was Steve Irwin, the Australian nicknamed “the crocodile hunter,” who brought the wild world into my living room in Dübendorf,” Dean Schneider says.
Never losing sight of his goal, he works hard in a banking world that he does not yet much. Fortunately, he is good. At 21, he started his own financial planning business and that was a success. To reward his employees, he organized two years later, in 2016, a trip to South Africa and caressed for the first time a lion, on a reserve. “In addition to my passion, I had confirmation that I had special contact with animals. I felt crazy energy. I returned to Switzerland with tears in my eyes: I had just tasted the life I wanted to lead.”
Dean Schneider now dedicates his life to wildlife protection and animal awareness, because he says “we only protect what we love”.
Snakes, lions, monkeys, hyenas, etc… the animals are Mr. Dean’s new family. And just like him, many people have put a crusade on their comfortable lives in order to devote themselves to animal welfare.
