Foreigners who study at American universities that only offer online courses in the autumn due to the corona pandemic will have to leave the country. The American migration service ICE announced this today.
According to the Migration Service, students enrolled in such universities will have to leave the country or switch to an institution that does offer physical education.
Also, visas will no longer be issued to students who wish to attend education this fall at institutions that only offer online courses.
Those affected are students with an F-1 student visa or students wishing to apply for such a permit. According to the Migration Service, students from non-academic courses – such as flying schools – are also covered by the new rule.
