A Nigerian security operative arrested an 18-year-old robbery suspect who stole a motorcycle for the maintenance of his girlfriend.
The suspect Sharif Audu, who stole the motorcycle from a Yakubu Ndanusa, admitted to stealing a Bajaj motorcycle to raise money for the maintenance of his girlfriend. Sharif, who is unemployed, has always been seen walking around the Honey Bell Hotel in Minna.
Speaking to Punch’s correspondent, he said; “The desire to satisfy the needs of my girlfriend made me steal the motorcycle. I don’t want to say no to her and that is why I can do anything to make her happy, no matter what.
“I don’t want to share her with anybody and that is why I will go the extra mile to fulfil her needs. I don’t care what it may result to, my duty is to provide what she needs before any other thing, I love her so much,” he said without remorse.
The State’s Police Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Abubakar, who confirmed that the stolen motorcycle was recovered from the suspect, added that he would be charged to court after investigation.
