Israeli twin sisters give birth to sons on the same day
In Jerusalem, two identical twin sisters gave birth to their sons on the same day.
The 31-year-old women were hospitalized one after the other: one had the amniotic sac ruptured, and the other had already started labor. The babies were born on Tuesday. For both women, it is their fourth offspring: they both already have two daughters and a son.
“A birth is a special and exciting event,” Yael Yishai said. “I’m glad to be able to share that with a good friend. And she also happens to be my sister.”
The twin sisters shared a hospital room. Now they can also spend their maternity leave together.
According to the management, history repeated itself: in 1997, twins had already given birth on the same day.
