Cheating is not a sin but learning a new style – says a marriage counselor

A Ghanaian marriage counselor, George Lutterodt, is once again at the heart of a controversy over his stance on infidelity in marriage.

According to Lutterodt, infidelity should not be considered a sin because “it is not one”. The ‘famous marriage counselor’ and man of God made this statement during a broadcast on Adom TV.

The latter advised married men not to blame their wives when they sleep with other men.

“Infidelity is not a sin. If you are a man and your wife is cheating on you or catching your wife in the act, thank God because it is an opportunity to learn because your wife is coming home with new sexual positions,” he explained.

Asked about his reaction if he caught his wife in the act of unfaithfulness, he said, “If I catch my wife in bed with another man, I’ll just stay there and look at them for a few lessons and when she’s back, she can also teach me more.”
