Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has received hearty birthday wishes from the royal family despite tensions within the British royal family. Prince Harry’s wife will celebrate her 39th birthday on Tuesday.
Queen Elizabeth congratulated Meghan on her official social media channels. She wishes the Duchess a “very happy birthday”. The court added a photo from 2018 when Meghan first went public with the Queen.
The Queen’s congratulations were soon followed by similar messages from Prince Charles and his wife Camilla and Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Meghan is celebrating her birthday in Los Angeles, where she settled with her husband Harry and son Archie this spring. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back into the royal family and wanted more peace and freedom.
In recent weeks, the Sussexes have been in the news again due to all kinds of revelations in the biography ‘Finding Freedom’, which appears this week. The couple is also involved in a lawsuit against the Mail on Sunday.
