Matt Fiddes: “I will reveal Jackson’s true private life”

Matt Fiddes, the former bodyguard of Michael Jackson, plans to open a book about the time he spent with the discerned superstar. Fiddes worked for Jackson for ten years. He now wants the truth to be revealed.

The time has come to defend a friend, Matt Fiddes writes on Instagram. Michael Jackson, who was always so wonderful to my family and his staff. I have waited and watched the “circus” in recent years. People forget that this man was and is the most “famous man in the world”. The biggest target in the world. And he wanted his life to remain a mystery. He understood the media value of it. And it, unfortunately, turned against him in death.

The bodyguard, who lived with him in the last years of Jackson’s life, tells how he declined interview requests for years, but could no longer remain unemployed because of the documentary ‘Leaving Neverland’. “I will reveal everything about Michael’s true private life”. As bodyguards, we see “the real truth”. “We guard his life and his private rooms. We know who enters and leaves”.

Matt Fiddes added that Jackson has been surrounded by bodyguards since he was young. If someone wanted to come to him, that person had to pass through them. “We kept his private life a secret because he wanted ‘his life to be the greatest show on earth’.” But that went wrong because he is no longer there to defend himself. “Mike, we defended you during your life, and in death, we defend your legacy, your family and especially your children.”
