A 24-year-old Turkish woman has been named the tallest woman in the world by Guinness World Records. Rumeysa Gelgi is 215.16 centimeters tall. How ever, Turkey has produced both the tallest man and woman in the world.

The woman suffers from Weaver syndrome, which causes, among other things, a large stature. Gelgi was also named the world’s tallest teenager in 2014.
