Netflix warns of ‘Bird Box Challenge’: “Please do not hurt yourself”
Do not injure yourself with the Bird Box Challenge! That tweeted streaming service Netflix, after a remarkable challenge around the popular Netflix film ‘Bird Box’ seems to be making its advance. On social media, several movies are currently being shared with people who walk around blindfolded.
“Can’t believe I have to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE. We don’t know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you not end up in the hospital due to memes.” Netflix US tweeted.
The film is about an invisible entity that appears on Earth and forces people to commit suicide with eye contact. The only thing that comes up for main character Malorie (Sandra Bullock) is finding the road to safety blindfolded.
Horror film on Netflix with Sandra Bullock scares everyone to death: “I do not dare to open my eyes anymore.”
What I can do, I can also, seems to think with the #BirdBoxChallenge. On videos and photos, you can see how blindfolded people try to find their way, blindfolded their dogs and blindfolded children who tumble over each other. Netflix continues in the message: “We do not know how this started and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you not end up in the hospital due to memes.” Netflix said in one-week time after 45 million people has viewed the movie.
