Nigerian Police Force recruitment begins soon – IGP reveals

Inspector-General of Police Usman Alkali Baba announced that new recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force would soon begin.

DURING HIS WORKING VISIT TO THE STATE POLICE COMMAND, the IGP unveiled this in Jos, Plateau State. Baba said the Force and the Police Service Commission (PSC) work closely together on this process.

He condemned the deaths of officers across the country and saluted the fallen heroes for their sacrifices. He assured that suitable children of the deceased would be considered during the recruitment process.

IGP reiterated his commitment to improving the welfare and working conditions of the Armed Forces.

He stressed the need to change officers’ attitudes and urged them to work hard and professionally. Baba visits command to restore confidence as personnel enforce law and order in the face of threats to public safety and attacks on police formations and units.
