On Wednesday, February 14, 2018, Stormy Daniels, a pornographic actress suspected of having sex with US President Donald Trump in 2006, threatens to make revelations to the press.
Asked what would motivate her to get there, a representative of the actress said she no longer felt compelled by a confidentiality agreement given that Michael Cohen, US President’s lawyer revealed that such an agreement had indeed been signed in the past.
The case came to light on January 12, when the Wall Street Journal reported that 38-year-old Stephanie Clifford, known as Stormy Daniels in the porn industry, was paid to remain silent after had sex with Mr. Trump. At that time, the present American president was married to Melania the current First Lady of the United States. This relationship occurred in 2006, four months after the birth of their son Barron.
The White House communication cell denied these claims, calling them “old information recycled, and vehemently denied before the election”.
The case would have taken a back seat when, to everyone’s surprise, President Donald Trump’s personal attorney confirmed Wednesday evening that an agreement with the actress had been reached.
“In a private transaction in 2016, I used my personal funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000 to Ms. Stephanie Clifford” said Michael Cohen in a statement released in the New York Times last Tuesday.
