Taylor Swift honored with very first ‘Woman of the Decade Award’
Singer Taylor Swift (29) is buried in prizes in the last months of the year. During Billboard’s annual ‘Women in Music Event’ on 12 December, Taylor will receive the very first ‘Woman of the Decade Award’ according to ET Online. It is a brand new prize to honor the singer as the most talented music artist of the past ten years.
Taylor is highly praised for her countless merits, such as her contribution to music education, cancer research, and disaster relief. The organization is also deeply impressed by its five number one hits in the ‘Billboard Hot 100’ list, three worldwide stadium tours that have raised the highest amount ever and two Billboard Woman of the Year Awards (Taylor is the only woman who received this honor twice).
During this fourteenth annual event, other artists will also be honored, including Alanis Morissette, Brandi Carlile, and Nicki Minaj.
In addition to the ‘Woman of the Decade Award’, the 29-year-old star will also be awarded a big prize this year, namely the ‘Artist of the Decade Award’ on 24 November during the 2019 American Music Awards.
