Trump hits back hard after Michelle Obama’s speech: “She was over her head”

US President Donald Trump has lashed out at former first lady Michelle Obama. On Monday, the first day of the National Democratic Convention, she hadn’t left a chip intact from his presidency. She called him “the wrong president” for America.

“It is growing over his head,” said the wife of former President Barack Obama in a video message. “Whenever we look to this White House for a little bit of leadership or comfort or any semblance of steadfastness, we instead get chaos, division, and a total and utter lack of empathy.”

Irritated

When Trump was later asked about a response by a reporter, he was irritated. “She was over her head”, it sounded. “She should have done her speech live, by the way. She didn’t. She pre-recorded him. Not only was it pre-recorded, she did it a long time ago. Because she had the wrong number of deaths ( from corona, Obama spoke of more than 150,000 deaths while there are now more than 170,000, ed. ). She didn’t even mention the vice presidential candidate (Kamala Harris, who was nominated last week, ed.).”

Trump clearly bothered that Michelle Obama was getting rave reviews for her speech. “If you were to make a real review, it wouldn’t be so fawning. I think she is divisive with her speech. A lot of division. I wouldn’t have been here without Barack Obama. Because he did his job so badly. Just like Biden. If they had done their job well, I wouldn’t have been here. I would have been building buildings somewhere and had a good time.”

On Tuesday morning, he had already replied to Michelle Obama in a few tweets. “My administration and I have built the best economy in the world in history. We shut it down, saved millions of lives, and now I’m building an even better economy. Plenty of jobs will be added (technology fair, ed.) NASDAQ is at a record high, and the rest will follow. Sit comfortably and watch.”

Joe Biden’s campaign, meanwhile, confirmed that Michelle Obama’s message was pre-recorded before Kamala Harris was appointed his running mates
