UK warned ‘any non-essential travel’ to DRC

The UK does not advise British citizens “any trip except essential” in the Democratic Republic of Congo following the fire that broke out in the capital, Kinshasa.

She also urged non-essential diplomatic staff in the DRC to leave the country by December 17

According to the tweet: “The FCO now advise against all but essential travel to the DRC, including Kinshasa (areas with existing advice against all travel are unchanged). If your continued presence is not essential, you should consider leaving the country.”
