Xiaomi has announced its Mi CC9 Pro smartphone with five cameras. The device includes a 108-megapixel sensor from Samsung and a camera with a telephoto lens. The phone will arrive in China on November 11 with a starting price of converted 360 dollars.
The primary camera in the camera set-up of the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro has a resolution of 108 megapixels, writes GSMArena. This is powered by the Isocell Bright HMX sensor from Samsung, developed in collaboration with the Chinese manufacturer. The primary camera comes standard with a lens with seven elements and an aperture of f/1.7. Xiaomi also sells a more expensive Premium version with an 8P lens, which should deliver ‘photos with more detail’. The aperture remains unchanged at f/1.7.
The phone contains a camera with a telephoto zoom lens and a resolution of 8 megapixels. This camera can optically ‘zoom in’ up to 5x, but only when the resolution is lowered to 5 megapixels. With digital zoom, this is increased to 50x. The Mi CC9 Pro also contains a macro camera for 2 to 10 centimeters. This works together with the ultra-wide-angle camera of 20 megapixels to achieve a minimum focal length of 1.5 centimeters. The fifth camera contains a telephoto lens with a 2x zoom and a resolution of 12 megapixels. This camera is primarily intended for taking portrait photos.
The device has an AMOLED screen of 6.47 “with a Full HD + resolution” and a screen ratio of 19.5: 9. The front camera is processed in a drop-shaped notch and has a resolution of 32 megapixels. The device contains a Snapdragon 730G-soc from Qualcomm with eight Kryo 470 cores with a maximum speed of 2.2GHz.This chip is made on an 8nm process and is equipped with an Adreno 618-GPU.
The Mi CC9 Pro also contains 6 or 8GB ram, depending on the capacity of phone which comes with 128 or 256GB storage capacity, the battery capacity includes 5260mAh and a fast charging technology with a capacity of 30W is supported, according to Xiaomi the battery should be able to charge up to 58 percent in half an hour.
The Xiaomi CC9 Pro will go on sale on November 11 but can be ordered in advance from sites like Aliexpress. The smartphone is available in three variants; the model with 6GB of ram and 128GB of storage costs 2799 yuan. The option with 8GB ram and 256GB is available for 3099 yuan. The CC9 Pro Premium with an 8P lens also has 8GB of ram and 256GB of storage but costs 3499 yuan.
