Jennifer Lopez closes Versace show in iconic green dress

Jennifer Lopez (50) goes over the tongues in a green dress for a second time. During a Versace fashion show and Milan Fashion Week, she wore her iconic 2000 Grammy’s dress.

It was the first red carpet dress ever to go viral. Lopez appeared at the Grammy Ceremony in a striking, poisonous green silk chiffon dress that was literally cut out to her navel. The next morning she was on the front page of all the newspapers.

She raised the bar for red carpet fashion with that bold move. “I remember when we were on our way to get her to try on another dress,” recalls Jennifer’s stylist Andrea Lieberman. “But along the way, I saw that dress hanging in a Versace boutique, and I just had to take it with me. When Jennifer first wore it, we all knew: this is the dress.”

Today she wore a very similar creation by Donatella Versace at the Versace Spring Show 2020. It was the surprise of the evening. And it has to be said: at the age of 50, she looks at least as good as she did 20 years ago.
