Dog saved an abandoned baby monkey breastfeed and adopted it
Ruby, a kind dog with only one eye, clung so much to her new adopted son that she even breastfeeds him.
A dog saved an abandoned baby monkey from the attack of a pack in a village in central India and is raising it as her own.
The dog and the monkey have become inseparable, according to the residents of a village near Seoni Malwa. The baby monkey breastfeeds from the dog and mounts on her back.
Ruby intervened when the baby monkey was being attacked by a group of dogs that roamed the streets of the village of Kansheda. Ruby has only one eye, but apparently, that did not affect her good heart. After adopting the little monkey, the dog, who does not have her own puppies, now roams around Kanskheda, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, with the monkey clinging to her back.
According to Suresh Prabhy, Ruby’s owner, he is “very protective” and never takes her eyes off him. “The baby monkey was roaming around the area when a group of dogs surrounded him, before they could destroy him, my dog Ruby intervened and saved his life,” said Suresh Prabhy, adding: “It has been more than a month and a half since the couple became the center of attention in the whole town.”
Ruby’s generosity has transcended the borders of the village and villagers from nearby villages have begun visiting Kanskheda to meet the family whose images came to the world’s media on Monday.
