Rihanna honours a deceased fan
Rihanna has shown her fan Monia the last honour in an emotional post on Instagram. The singer posted a photo of those made in June. On 25 December, Monia died of the consequences of cancer. It was the third time that the disease returned to the woman.
“This Christmas we have lost a beautiful soul that was a beacon of strength for all of us. She spent most of her time in the hospital or at the doctor. This picture was taken a few months ago when she told me that the cancer was back. I never forget the fear I saw in her eyes. Yet she remained strong and fought every day. We are all broken here, but will never forget you. I love you my angel, go in peace,” Rihanna writes with the photo.
The two met during a meet & greet in 2015 and kept in touch. Rihanna gave her heart a boost through social media. Earlier this month, when things got worse with Monia’s health, the singer wrote ‘to pray for her’. She also wished her much strength during her fight against the disease.
