Camila Cabello is tired of body-shamers: “I luv my body”

Singer Camila Cabello silences body-shamers with a clear message on TikTok. ‘We are real women with curves and cellulite, stretch marks, and fat. And we have to embrace that, baby,’ the singer says in her video to encourage her fans to love their true selves no matter what.

‘I was running in the park, minding my own business, trying to be fit and have a healthy lifestyle,’ Cabello said. ‘I was wearing a top that partially exposed my stomach. I didn’t hide it because I was running, like a normal person who isn’t doing that all the time at the time.’ At that time, the singer would have been confronted with her belly that was visible.

‘And I was like, ‘Damn’,’ she continued. Although she did not go into detail about the moment when she was body-shamed, the singer clearly stated that she was not pleased with it. ‘So then I reminded myself that going to war with your body is no longer fashionable.’

Cabello continues her story by telling her fans that women should embrace their bodies as they are. That we should just be thankful for it. “We are real women with curves and cellulite, stretch marks, and fat. And we have to embrace that, baby.”

The singer concludes her video with En Vogue’s song ‘Giving Him Something He Can Feel’, rubbing her hand over her stomach and chest.
